RALEIGH, North Carolina, Sept. 30 -- The North Carolina Department of Public Safety issued the following news release:
The State of North Carolina and FEMA have approved more than $3.7 million to reimburse New Hanover County for debris removal costs following Hurricane Florence.
More than 1.1 million cubic yards of vegetation and other storm-related debris--enough to fill 75,000 dump trucks--were collected throughout the county. Funds for this project cover work complet . . .
