WACO, Texas, Sept. 30 -- The American Football Coaches Association issued the following news:
Trailing 21-0 after the first quarter, Concordia (Mich.) scored 42 unanswered points and held on for a 42-35 win on the road against then-No. 9 Saint Xavier (Ill.). The win moves the Cardinals to 4-0 on the season and they stay at No. 5 in the AFCA NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The loss dropped Saint Xavier six spots to No. 15.
