WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 -- Rep. Bradley Byrne, R-Alabama, issued the following statement after the House Education and Labor Committee markup of the Protecting the Right to Organize Act:
Congressman Byrne introduced two amendments that were defeated on a party-line vote.
Byrne said:
"I am disappointed that the Democrats rammed through a bill that would take our labor laws backwards by propping up struggling union special interests at the expense of Americ . . .
