WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 -- Rep. Joyce Beatty, D-Ohio, issued the following statement:
Following new reporting that President Trump repeatedly requested Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate his political rival by leveraging foreign aid, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) said:
"The president has time and time again lied to and mislead the American people, and the reports of his repeated pressure on the Ukrainian president to investigate his politica . . .
