Corps of Engineers: One Lane of Highway 177 Bridge Across Norfork Dam to Close for a Year

MOUNTAIN HOME, Arkansas, Sept. 24 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the following news release:
The Corps of Engineers will close one lane of Highway 177 across Norfork Dam from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 15 until Oct. 15, 2020, to perform maintenance on the spillway bridge. Work and lane closures will begin in the northbound lane with a scheduled switch to the southbound lane in May 2020.
The closure has been coordinated with local emergency and law enforcement age . . .
