TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Sept. 20 -- Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the Fort Lauderdale area added 11,800 new private-sector jobs in the past year. The Fort Lauderdale area's unemployment rate was 3.3 percent in August, down 0.1 percentage point from one year ago.
