TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Sept. 20 -- Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the Miami area added 28,100 new private-sector jobs in the last year, creating the second-highest number of jobs among all Florida metro areas. The Miami area's unemployment rate was 3.5 percent, down 0.5 percentage point from one year ago.
