COLUMBUS, Georgia, Sept. 19 -- The Muscogee County School District issued the following news release:
In a recent announcement from the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE), six Muscogee County School District were named to serve on State School Superintendent Richard Woods' Student Advisory Council. The students were selected from a pool of more than 1,000 applicants throughout the state. A total of 130 students will serve on the council.
