WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Maryland, issued the following statement regarding the Trump administration's decision to revoke California's authority to set its own emissions standards - which 13 other states, including Maryland, follow - and require weaker standards across the board:
