Sen. Durbin Issues Statement on Vote to Proceed to Senate Appropriations Funding Bills

WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Illinois, vice chairman of the Senate Appropriations subcommittee on Defense, and ranking member of the Senate Judiciary subcommittee on Immigration, issued the following statement after voting against the motion to proceed to four Senate Appropriations Committee funding bills, including the Senate Appropriations Defense Subcommittee funding bill:
