WASHINGTON, Sept. 13 -- Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Wisconsin, issued the following news release:
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) approved a lead abatement initiative program for pregnant women and low-income children enrolled in BadgerCare Plus and Medicaid. Governor Evers' budget included $14.2 million for lead reduction efforts and testing. Congresswoman Moore released the following statement:
