WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-North Carolina, issued the following statement on the change in inter-affiliate margin requirements:
"I applaud FDIC Chairman McWilliams and OCC Comptroller Otting for fixing their inter-affiliate margin requirements and aligning with the CFTC, SEC, and other G20 countries.
"The needless collection of capital for inter-affiliate transactions implemented by the Obama Administration did not improve risk management and . . .
