WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- Rep. Andy Harris, R-Maryland, issued the following news release:
Rep. Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) announced the award of federal grants to volunteer firefighter departments on the Eastern Shore. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) awarded $169,809 to the Queenstown Volunteer Fire Company, $228,928 to the Denton Volunteer Fire Company, and $335,000 to the United Communities Volunteer Fire Department in Stevensville.
