Rep. Ruppersberger Issues Statement on Impeachment Investigation Against President Trump

WASHINGTON, Sept. 17 -- Rep. C.A. 'Dutch' Ruppersberger, D-Maryland, issued the following statement after members of the House Judiciary Committee marked up a resolution representing the next steps in its investigation to determine whether to recommend articles of impeachment against President Trump:
"It appears to me that Trump has committed impeachable offenses. This includes apparent violations of the emoluments clause, obstructing the Mueller investigation, refusing to comp . . .
