LOUISVILLE, Kentucky, Sept. 13 -- The U.S. Air Force issued the following news:
A special operations Airman from the Kentucky Air National Guard received the nation's second-highest medal for combat valor Sept. 13, for his actions on an Afghanistan battlefield.
