DENVER, Colorado, Sept. 12 -- Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock issued the following news:
The City and County of Denver will help lead settlement talks with the defendants named in the national opioid litigation who want to negotiate. This comes as Purdue Pharma, one of the named defendants, tentatively agreed to a settlement valued at an estimated $12B.
Wednesday afternoon, U.S. District Judge Dan A. Polster, who's presiding over the sprawling multidistrict opioid litig . . .
