WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following statement praising the Trump administration's decision to ban flavored e-cigarettes:
"I applaud the Trump administration for taking action to curb youth smoking rates.
"Banning flavored e-cigarettes is a key step to doing so, and I hope that Congress will follow up this progress by raising the minimum age to purchase tobacco products to 21."
