BUFFALO, New York, Sept. 11 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the following news release:
Beginning on Wednesday, September 18, NY Route 5 westbound (outbound) will be reduced to one lane between Big Tree Road and Seabreeze Avenue, to begin work on the Athol Springs project, and is scheduled to remain in place for the remainder of the 2019 construction season.
Motorists are advised to allow for additional travel time or seek alternate routes.
