ORLANDO, Florida, Sept. 11 -- Rep. Val Demings, D-Florida, issued the following news release:

Today, Rep. Demings introduced a bipartisan, bicameral resolution calling for increased diversity in American media. Co-leading the resolution is Rep. Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon (R-PR) in the U.S. House, and Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) in the U.S. Senate.
