WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- The Democratic Governors Association issued the following news:
Today, North Carolina Republicans hit a new low. After refusing to come to the table with a counteroffer to Gov. Roy Cooper's budget, state House Republicans called a surprise vote on the morning of 9/11 to override Gov. Cooper's budget veto.
Knowing they didn't have the votes if Democratic members were present, House Republicans deliberately chose to hold their vote when barely half . . .
