The Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point commanding officer issued an All Clear notification for the air station as of 11:25 a.m., Sept. 6.
The more intense part of Hurricane Dorian affected the installation during the early morning hours of Friday as the community endured sustained winds of 45 knots, with gusts up to 67 knots.
