Brown Announces Nearly $400,000 for Firefighters in Franklin County

WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded a total of $390,360 to two Franklin County fire departments for operations and safety through the Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) Program. Those awards include:
* $131,428 to Mifflin Township Division of Fire and,
