FEMA Reimburses FDEM $15.7 Million for Hurricane Michael Expenses

TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Sept. 5 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:

FEMA has approved $15,709,682 to the state of Florida to assist the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) with reimbursement for management costs following Hurricane Michael in October 2018 under FEMA's Public Assistance Program.

The grant is funded by FEMA's Public Assistance program, an essential source of funding . . .
