WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that the Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy has awarded the University of Toledo $750,000 for the development of low-cost unassisted photoelectrochemical water splitting technology. The DOE's Office of Nuclear Energy also contributed to this project.
