August 28, 2019
GAINESVILLE, Florida, Aug. 28 [TNSmedicalresearch] -- The University of Florida issued the following news:

First came Kurbo, a new app launched by Weight Watchers (WW) on Aug 13 to help children ages 8 to 17 make healthier food choices and lose weight.

Then came the pushback from critics, including an online petition signed by more than 87,000 people stating that the app is "irresponsible" because it could lead children to develop eating disorders.
