RALEIGH, North Carolina, Aug. 27 -- The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality issued the following news release:
State officials will host a public hearing September 5 in Cashiers to gather comments on a water quality certification for Cashiers Canoe Club Development, LLC.
The 6 p.m. public hearing will be held at the Albert Carlton-Cashiers Community Library, 249 Frank Allen Road in Cashiers. People who wish to speak can start signing in at 5:30 p.m.
