WASHINGTON, Aug. 26 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following op-ed:
U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) announced today that he has appointed Elijah Smith, a Junior at Legacy Christian Academy from Xenia, to serve as a U.S. Senate Page for the fall 2019 program. Elijah will have the opportunity to work in the Senate chamber and assist with day-to-day operations at the Capitol. The Page Program will run from September to January.
