AKRON, Ohio, Aug. 22 -- The city of Akron issued the following news release:
The City of Akron Great Streets Initiative will award 18 facade improvement grants totaling $387,000 to businesses within the 11 Great Streets designated districts - Copley Road East, Ellet, Firestone Park, Goodyear Heights, Kenmore Blvd, Maple Valley, Merriman Valley, Middlebury, North Hill, Wallhaven, and West Hill.
