WASHINGTON, Aug. 15 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Maryland, a senior member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Special Representative on Anti-Semitism, Racism and Intolerance for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly, issued the following statement on Israel barring two congresswomen from visiting the country:
