ORLANDO, Florida, Aug. 13 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
FEMA has approved $1,280,705 for the State of Florida to help Marion County defray the costs of responding to Hurricane Irma under FEMA's Public Assistance Program.
FEMA funds will reimburse the county for the cost of overtime worked by firefighters, road crews, and other city employees to prepare for the storm's arrival, set up . . .
