ORLANDO, Florida, Aug. 13 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
FEMA has approved $1,808,889 for the State of Florida to help the City of Coral Springs defray the costs of responding to Hurricane Irma under FEMA's Public Assistance Program.
FEMA funds will reimburse the city for the cost of overtime worked by police, firefighters, and other city employees to open and staff an emergency operat . . .
