ORLANDO, Florida, Aug. 13 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
FEMA has approved $2,444,226 for the State of Florida to help Nassau County defray the costs of debris removal for Hurricane Irma under FEMA's Public Assistance Program.
FEMA funds will reimburse the county for the collection, reduction, disposal and site management of debris within Nassau County between Oct. 18 and Dec. 3, 2017 . . .
