STATESVILLE, North Carolina, Aug. 13 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina, R. Andrew Murray, issued the following news release:
U.S. Attorney Andrew Murray announced today that federal gun prosecutions stemming from the Western District's Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) initiative have resulted in prison terms for five repeat offenders, for illegally possessing firearms or ammunition despite having prior felony convictions.
