CHICAGO, Illinois, Aug. 12 -- The American Bar Association issued the following news release:
The American Bar Association House of Delegates voted late Monday (Aug. 12) in San Francisco to postpone indefinitely Resolution 114 that would have altered the traditional definition of consent in sexual assault cases.
The vote of 256-165 to postpone came after about an hour of debate and after the ABA Criminal Justice Section (CJS) urged further study with other ABA entities . . .
