WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 -- Rep. Mike Quigley, D-Illinois, issued the following statement regarding the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, Dayton, Ohio, and Chicago, Illinois over the weekend which resulted in 22 deaths in El Paso, nine in Dayton, and seven in Chicago:
"This weekend, 22 people died in El Paso, nine people died in Dayton, and, in the deadliest weekend in our city so far this year, seven people were killed in Chicago. This is not normal.
