WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 -- The National Education Association issued the following statement by President Lily Eskelsen Garcia in response to what she called the acts of gun violence stoked by the racist rhetoric of President Trump, which left three people dead in Gilroy, California; 21 in El Paso, Texas; and 10 in Dayton, Ohio:
