RALEIGH, North Carolina, Aug. 5 -- Gov. Roy Cooper, D-North Carolina, issued the following statement on Gun Violence Prevention Act (H.B. 86) and the Allow Extreme Risk Protection Orders to Save Lives and Prevent Suicides (H.B. 454):
