TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Aug. 5 -- The Florida Senate issued the following news release:

Senate President Bill Galvano (R-Bradenton) today appointed Senator Victor Torres (D-Kissimmee) to the Florida Veterans' Hall of Fame Council. The seven-member Council is tasked with making nominations for induction into the Florida Veterans' Hall of Fame.
