WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 -- Greenpeace issued the following statement by Executive Director Annie Leonard in response to the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio:
"Our hearts are broken by the tragic, hate-fueled terrorist attacks in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. At least 31 parents, neighbors, friends, and family members have been senselessly killed, and this is just from the past few days. There have been over 250 mass shootings in the United States alone in 2019, . . .
