WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-West Virginia, issued the following statement after voting in support of the bipartisan budget agreement:
The Senate passed the measure by a vote of 67 to 28, and it now heads to the president's desk for his signature.
"I'm glad that President Trump and the administration were able to negotiate a budget agreement with House leadership that allows us to now move forward with the appropriations process.
