Secretary of Defense Mark T. Esper announced today that the president has made the following nomination:
Air Force Lt. Gen. Anthony J. Cotton for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general, and assignment as deputy commander, Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.
