WASHINGTON, July 31 -- Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wisconsin, issued the following news release:
The Senate passed bipartisan legislation Tuesday introduced by Senator Baldwin to honor Fire Captain Cory James Barr, a first responder who was killed by an explosion while responding to the July 2018 natural gas leak in Sun Prairie. Captain Barr is credited with evacuating more than 100 people from the building.
