WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Rep. Greg Gianforte, R-Montana, issued the following statement after the Fish and Wildlife Service relisted the grizzly bear in the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem:
"Today's listing is the result of an activist judge siding with environmental extremists and refusing to follow the scientific findings of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that the grizzly bear recovered in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
