WASHINGTON, July 26 -- Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Illinois, issued the following statement after House passage of the Bipartisan Budget Act (H.R. 3877):
This bill is a vast improvement over the harmful cuts in the President's proposed 2020 budget and restores certainty to our nation's budgeting.
