Missouri U.S. Attorney: Two Former Vernon County Ambulance District Employees Sentenced for $270,000 Embezzlement

SPRINGFIELD, Missouri, July 29 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri issued the following news release:

The former director and the former bookkeeper of the Vernon County Ambulance District have been sentenced in federal court for embezzling more than $270,000 from the district.
