WASHINGTON, July 25 -- Rep. Mark Walker, R-North Carolina, as Ranking Member of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Intelligence and Counterterrorism, issued the following opening statement at a joint subcommittee hearing entitled "Homeland Security Implications of the Opioid Crisis":
