WASHINGTON, July 25 -- Rep. Bryan Steil, R-Wisconsin, issued the following statement on the budget agreement.
"Our budget process is broken and Washington has a spending problem. Congress cannot continue to spend without a plan to pay for it. Our nation is $22 trillion in debt.
"Rather than promoting fiscal responsibility and providing a plan towards a balanced budget, this bill adds $300 billion to the debt.
