WASHINGTON, July 24 -- Rep. Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, issued the following news release:
Today, Congressman Brad Wenstrup (OH-02) supported the bipartisan Stopping Bad Robocalls Act, which reinforces the FCC's authority to detect, shut down, and fine offenders who send illegal robocalls. The bill also requires phone companies to authenticate phone calls and give consumers the ability to block robocalls at no additional cost.
