WASHINGTON, July 22 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, ranking member of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, issued the following statement on Equifax's settlement with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Federal Trade Commission for its 2017 data breach:
