ARLINGTON, Virginia, July 23 -- The Nature Conservancy issued the following statement by Ohio State Director Bill Stanley:
"The Nature Conservancy applauds the recent passage of legislation designating the month of April as "Ohio Native Plant Month."
"The designation increases public awareness of the importance of Ohio's native plants and animals and the benefits they provide to pollinators, Ohio's economy, and the health of Ohio's environment.
